Hong Kong CPA Practicing Certificate
Many Korean accounting firms in Hong Kong borrow names of local accountants since services can only be provided with professionals holding CPA Practicing Certificates who are shareholders and directors of accounting firms. Amongst Korean accounting firms in Hong Kong, Seone is the only accounting firm that is providing services with its own CPA Practicing Certificate.

Seone is registered with the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and each director also holds a Certified Public Accountants license of the United States and Korea. TAX SERVICES

We analyze the objective factors surrounding our clients and perform stereo logic analysis of the tax issues of the jurisdictions in Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea where clients’ business is carried out.

Although Hong Kong and Singapore has a simple tax system based on common law and equity, its implementation is complicated and requires significant expertise. Hong Kong and Singapore levy tax on domestic source income which can be utilized to mitigate tax expenses. However, individual doing businesses in multiple country should properly assess the home country’s tax residency from the outset as tax benefits from multiple countries can offset by the tax levy in the home country.

Recently there have been many Korean companies that experienced tax disputes or triggered tax issues in Hong Kong and Singapore. Also, Korean tax authorities are closely monitoring such dependent and independent individuals to levy huge tax based on the tax residency. Korean tax authorities secure information from Hong Kong and Singapore via the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information and it has strengthened the enforcement of tax levy.
